Mary Tassone is a mixed media artist, graphic designer, and educator based in Portland, Oregon. Her practice is guided by an intuitive response to place, personal experience, and cultural observation, translating moments of curiosity, connection, and discovery into visual compositions and expressions. Working across photography, painting, collage, printmaking, and digital media, she gathers and reconstructs fragmented imagery to explore themes of connection, adaptation, and presence. Her work embraces process, allowing unexpected relationships between materials, memory, and experience to emerge as each piece evolves.
